What is Goodlife Home Concierge?

As a Home Watch Steward of your estate, I physically visit and check your home and property to identify problems or potential problems that can occur while your property is vacant. Providing a physical presence that is not available through a remote alarm monitoring service. I can help with most requests you have by contacting me. 17North 88West is essentially trusted with stewardship of your home and property.

What is Home Watch?

Home Watch, also known as house watch, house check, home concierge, caretaker, absentee home service, property watch, and perhaps more. Our Home Watch service performs scheduled inspections of unoccupied or vacant properties while you, the owner is away. 

The NHWA describes Home Watch as “a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues.”

Why would I need a home watch service?

So many things can happen to your home in your absence: break-ins, water leaks, electrical problems, insects, mold, and storms, to name a few. Proactive preventive measures such as storm preparation and regular maintenance should prevent many situations from arising. Perhaps you have a trusted neighbor or relative nearby you can call, on the other hand having a professional acting on your behalf is a more effective option.

Is home watch a security service?

Goodlife Home Concierge Home Watch Service is having a visible presence in your empty home that may act as a crime deterrent. Most Home Watch companies answer alarm calls and are familiar to local law enforcement.

Are you a house sitter service?

Goodlife Home Concierge Concierge is not a house sitter. This service includes periodic visits to your home where we follow a specific and mutually agreed upon checklist. I am in your home for less than an hour per visit making sure your home is as you left it for your return.

Are You a Property inspector?

I check your property, I am NOT a property inspector. Property inspectors are usually involved at the sale of a property to do a detailed inspection of the structure, plumbing, electrical and heating and air condition systems. Goodlife Home Concierge provides a visual inspection of your vacated home or property looking for obvious issues.
